Big Smile for the Camera Las Vegas!

Wedding & Portrait Photographers Annual Convention 2013

Weddings are suppose to be that ‘happiest day of your life’ kind of thing. You know, the joyous occasion of bringing two individuals together as one, blah blah blah blah. How romantic. But whats even more romantic than that?
Having pictures to remind yourself of that special day which seemingly came out of a Hallmark movie. Unless your wedding wasn’t necessarily the best day, and you end up with a box of pictures with faces burned out or something. In that case, this isn’t the blog article for you.
Otherwise, the more pictures the merrier, not much of a pun intended either. Women seem to make quite the hobby out of collecting and taking nearly infinite pictures as it is already. Newly wed women are probably even worse, but hey, its the big day she had always dreamed of! Give her a break!
Admit it, we all know taking photographs make up more of a majority of the wedding process, than the actual wedding itself. What about behind the scenes of the photographer?
This is where the WPPI, or Wedding and Portrait Photographers International comes into play. The WPPI is the industry for photographers, with nearly 16,000 aspiring as well as professional photographers attending each year. The WPPI absolutely comes in handy.
Luckily for any photographers out there, the Wedding and Portrait Photographers Annual Show 2013 is coming to the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The show starts on the 11th of this month, and goes until the 13th. So far, there are 15,000 attendees, but always room for more. The attendees won’t be let down when they see the show floor.
A wide variety of products are available from major manufacture, and photographic instructors provide skills and techniques for any level. And photographers are able to network and expand by meeting other attendees. It seems to actually be a photographers dream! If you just so happen to be in the business, stop by and take a look around! It just might be the happiest day of your life as well.
